For Chandler Moore, faith and music are all about building bridges. It’s the reason the husky yet tender singer joined Atlanta’s Maverick City Music, a collective of equally inclusive artists who, since their founding in 2018, have placed contemporary praise & worship in dialogue with gospel music. Moore’s work outside Maverick walks the very same path. Getting his start in the mid-2010s as both a solo singer/songwriter and a backup vocalist for Travis Greene and Tye Tribbett, he has gone on to collaborate with pop star Justin Bieber on 2021’s Freedom., a Christ-inspired EP drawing sacred and secular into each other’s orbits.
