Bubblegum Pop Classics

Largely created as a marketing tool targeting the teen market, bubblegum pop arrived on the scene in the late '60s. Known for its sing-along choruses, infectious hooks and the occasional handclap, the sub-genre was dominated by groups composed of session musicians and unknown singers.
