The Kentucky-born saxophonist Boots Randolph was part of the Nashville Sound for most of his career. His best-known hits may have been in the pop vein, but he recorded a heap of country tunes, turning out sax-led instrumental versions of hits by Glen Campbell, Patsy Cline, Roger Miller and plenty of others.
