Outspoken vocalist and former street percussionist Natalie Pa'apa'a founded urban roots crew Blue King Brown with Carlo Santone in Byron Bay. The band scored a hit with "Water" from their self-titled debut EP, and they've since earned a reputation for their incendiary live shows. Fusing deep reggae grooves with Pa'apa'a's socially conscious lyrics, which take aim at subjects like human trafficking and consumerism, Blue King Brown are a social movement and a bass-heavy dub unit wrapped in one.
