4hero's Mark Clair and Dego McFarlane founded Reinforced Records in '89. In the years since, it's remained at the forefront of dance music. The U.K. label was home to pioneering producers such as Goldie and Doc Scott in the early '90s; by the decade's end it had enjoyed huge success with acts like darkcore's Arcon 2 and its owners' classic drum 'n' bass side project, Jacob's Optical Stairway.
