Best of Murmur

The label was called Murmur, but it made a hell of a lot of noise. It started with the band they called Nirvana in Pyjamas—Silverchair were three teenagers from Newcastle who put their own unique stamp on grunge. Also finding a home here are labelmates Something for Kate and Jebediah, who brought angular, anthemic alt-rock to the party.
