The second chapter of N.W.A. producer Dr. Dre's remarkable career began in 1991, when he and Suge Knight co-founded Death Row Records. His solo debut, The Chronic, then introduced West Coast G-funk and Snoop Doggy Dogg to the world. Death Row sustained that success with Snoop solo albums, the soundtracks to Above the Rim and Murder Was the Case, and 2Pac's most inspired and confrontational work.
