An acclaimed electronic-music figure who operates in Berlin’s techno scene, Ben Klock has filled floors and raised roofs since the ’90s. He's renowned for his hypnotic, dynamic grooves: The bubbling textures of “Subzero” ebb and flow in rhythmic bliss over for over six minutes, while a hooky urgency rumbles and percolates through the aptly titled “Journey”. His collaborative work with fellow German Marcel Dettmann, on the other hand, heightens the tension as beats and rhythms move at a breakneck speed on “No One Around” and “Dead Man Watches the Clock”.
