Air's retrofuturist pop knows no bounds. Early songs like "Le Soleil est près de moi" kicked off a quest for new takes on old sounds by lacing '60s soul with cool vocoder. "How Does It Make You Feel" is folk-pop for a celestial choir; "Cosmic Trip" remodels Krautrock's groove; and the way "Universal Traveler" combines acoustic guitar and electronics is easy on the ears yet wildly experimental.
