A scrappy, genre-blending project fronted by chronic collaborator, podcast host, and wordsmith Yoni Wolf, Why? is an indie rock outfit founded in the Oakland Bay area of California. Making its debut in 2002, Why? hit the Billboard charts for the first time in 2008, when Alopecia landed on the Heatseekers Albums chart. Wolf continued a regular release schedule with Why? alongside projects such as Yoni & Geti with rapper Serengeti. ~ Marcy Donelson
