In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The haunting image of Kiss's charismatic Gene Simmons spitting blood and fire, my first vivid musical memory, has never left me. It was a transformative experience that continues to inspire me today. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? AC/DC, Back In Black Kiss, Alive! The Angels, Dark Room (Recharged) Raised on ACDC, Kiss, and Oz rockers the Angels. I was drawn to their charismatic frontmen as much as the music itself. It offered a lifestyle, an identity, and a sense of belonging, and provided immense comfort. It was a significant part of my life. Tell us why you chose this song. “In Dreams with You” Australian poet, hero to many, Billie Reid wrote this heartfelt song for me to sing. That thought alone chills me to my core. It means more to me now than ever before. Especially when you read the lyric "… I wanna spend my life in dreams with you". What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? A memorable moment you ask? The first thing that comes to mind is my passionless attempt to kick off a karaoke barbecue with Don McLean's classic, "American Pie". I discovered it was 8 minutes and 42 seconds long, and I've hated it ever since. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? While I wouldn't want to diminish my future goals and aspirations by calling them "bucket list" items, I do hope to heal my shattered heart, and honour the memory of my beautiful wife Dedeh by living a meaningful and fulfilling life.
