Toronto rapper Tim North delivers an agile, singsongy, somewhat aggressive flow over narcotic, minimalist backdrops. Born in Montréal, North began his career in Toronto, uploading his tracks online and quickly attracting a succession of producers eager to supply him with beats. His first published track was 2013's "Don't Stop," which introduced his signature sound. He first started to attract major internet attention two years later with "100 Proof" and really broke out in 2017 with the banger "Fuck Luck." In 2021 he came to wider attention when he was featured on Italian EDM duo Merk & Kremont's single U&U, released by major-label Island. His first EP, Early Wishes, was released in 2022.
