In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My dad had a room with a few guitars and some other recording equipment. I remember him playing and recording songs when I was very small, and then as I became a musician myself, joining him in his recordings. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Chick Corea, Hymn of the Seventh Galaxy Public Enemy, Fear of a Black Planet Van Halen, Fair Warning The fire of political anger, rock and roll angst, and virtuosic musicianship at escape velocity each characterize one or more of these albums. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Being signed to Sharawaji Records was a highlight that kicked off 3 full length albums so far. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'd like to take the Surf Hermits on a festival tour, playing with cool players for appreciative crowds.
