In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I can still remember the thrill of buying my first record. A gatefold 7" edition of Prince Charming by Adam and the Ants. So exciting. Later sold it, regretted it - then found it again many years later in the second-hand record store I'd sold it to! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Justin Sullivan, Navigating by the Stars Kate Bush, Hounds of Love Pulp, Different Class Pulp's Different Class takes me straight back to the mid-1990s every time. So many memories attached to this album. Hounds of Love by Kate Bush is the most perfect album ever made. Any time I'm stressed, Justin Sullivan's solo LP is a soothing balm! Tell us why you chose this song. “Giving It All Away” This song turned out exactly like the idea I had in my head, which is quite rare. And contains some of my favourite lines I've ever written :) What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Selling out a hometown show at a 750 cap venue and blowing the roof off the place was memorable for being an amazing night, a fantastic show, and validation that hey I'm pretty good at this stuff. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? A vinyl release, a duet with Gin Wigmore, and a hit song!
