The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus is a post-hardcore and Christian band from Florida who were part of the first wave of groups to rise to prominence via social media. ∙ ∙The band’s 2006 debut album, Don’t You Fake It, has been certified Platinum, thanks in large part to its Top 40 hit, the anti-domestic abuse anthem “Face Down.” ∙ Their sophomore record, Lonely Road climbed to No. 14 on the Billboard 200. ∙ The band has had seven No. 1 hits on the Billboard Christian Rock Radio chart, including two singles from their 2014 self-released album, 4. ∙ After COVID halted the band’s 2020 tour, drummer John Espy and the tour opener Johnny Zirkel teamed up to record an EP about the history of witch burnings under the name The Wildfires Project.
