In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember learning lots of instruments as a child. I had lessons on the organ and flute in primary school and sang in school choirs. I picked up electric guitar, bass and drums in high school and put my organ lessons to use on synthesisers. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Nine Inch Nails, The Fragile Radiohead, Hail to the Thief Sia, Some People Have Real Problems All of these albums are by bands where I have a hard time choosing between albums. The Fragile is a sonic powerhouse, Hail to the Thief is composed and performed beautifully and Sia’s album ‘Some people have real problems’ is peak Sia for me. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Probably playing synth with Johnny Rock and the Limits at the St. Kilda Festival in Victoria. What a vibe!
