Social Club Misfits

The Christian rap duo Social Club Misfits distill a range of influences including Latin music, R&B and EDM to make their contemporary faith-based hip-hop. • The son of a pastor, Fern rediscovered religion while serving a three-year prison sentence for drug trafficking. He later met Marty Mar in South Florida, and they started making music together. • Their self-released third album, 2014’s Misfits 2, hit No. 3 on Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums chart and crossed over to the all-genre Billboard 200. • They cracked the Top 5 on Billboard’s Top Rap Albums chart with 2017’s The Misadventures of Fern & Marty.
