In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was a teenager with an electric guitar I found a Windham Hill cassette tape in my Dad's cupboard and instantly fell for Hedges, Ackerman and De Grassi's acoustic playing. It was just a matter of time from there. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Flicker” I first wrote this song on a mandolin and though the guitar playing is not at the front, the melody is still sentimental and melancholy all these years later. The keyboards push it away from folk and a little towards new-age which is how I hear this. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The first time I played at the Italian ADGPA Convention in those beautiful settings. Warm summer nights, new friends, new bright orange drinks and a new audience.
