In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Performing a Mariah Carey song in a middle school concert was the first time I ever considered music as an option for myself, I was always certain that acting was my only talent but that one night opened my mind to what could be. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Red Velvet, RBB - The 5th Mini Album - EP Selena Gomez, Rare Selena Gomez, Revival My top three albums reflect my own sound, Selena Gomez has played a massive part in that, her whispery sound helped me find my own sound which is quite similar, Red Velvet helped me find my love for singing in Korean, my second language. Tell us why you chose this song. “Now That I Know” This song will always be special to me, it always makes me feel so confident and so self sufficient. Far too often I've relied on my heart to feel fulfilled, this song really does remind me that happiness is internal, not external. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Being the opening act for a band I grew up listening to was sublime, it was the first live show I ever did, I still cannot believe how lucky I was. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I really want to spend lots of time in South Korea, I want to throw myself into the strict and demanding schedules K-Pop artists dedicate themselves to, I think more western artists need to dedicate their time in the same way Korean artists do.
