In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Buying my first 7" single with my own money as a child. It was 'Fox On The Run' by The Sweet. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? The Beatles, Rubber Soul The Rolling Stones, Exile On Main Street (2010 Remaster) The Smiths, The Queen Is Dead The Smiths were the soundtrack for my teens. Tell us why you chose this song. “Levon Helm” I wrote this song on my last day in Dallas before flying back to Australia in 2014. More than any other song of mine it's garnished comments from people about how it really touched them, as they themselves had lost loved ones to addictions. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Winning the Australian Songwriters Association's Songwriter of the Year award in 2014, on the back of my debut solo single 'Spiral'. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to tour and play in the USA. I would especially love to play at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville.
