Peso Peso is a rising Mexican American rapper signed to the influential Texas hip-hop label The Sauce Familia (TSF). • The Galveston County, Texas, native emerged with the single “Gotta Have It” in 2014 under the name King Pe$o. • Peso Peso is following in the footsteps of his father, who once rapped for Dope House Records under the name Star Baby. • It wasn’t until 2019 that Peso Peso made his proper debut with the mixtape Hardest Ese Eva, featuring artists like HoodRich Pablo Juan, Sancho Saucy and Go Yayo. • Peso Peso kicked off 2020 with the single “Sauce Mafia”, a collaboration with TSF founder Sauce Walka and Shoreline Mafia's OhGeesy. The mixtape Salsa followed soon after. • The rapper proudly reps his Mexican heritage—he has the flag tattooed on his hands and neck.
