In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My friend at camp made a mixtape for me once but I didn't have a CD player I couldn't listen to it on. My parents picked me up and driving home from camp I put it on and the first song was 'Sweet Home Alabama' and I was hooked on Southern Rock! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Lynyrd Skynyrd, Pronounced Leh-Nerd Skin-Nerd Bonus Tracks Miranda Lambert, Palomino Tyler Childers, Purgatory I listened to Palomino driving through the Wild West & every track is perfect. Free Bird - need I say more? And on a debut album no less! Purgatory is another album where every song is just beautiful to me. Tell us why you chose this song. “Found My Home” This was the first song I wrote about Muscle Shoals, Alabama, the first song that hit the USA radio charts and the first music video that got rotation on CMT. I wrote this song from the heart and it opened doors for me so I'm forever thankful. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Recording not once but three times now in my adopted home of Muscle Shoals, Alabama. There's something in the water in that town and all of my songs just come alive there when we go into the studio! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Tons! I'm planning on hitting the road in the next few years and seeing as much of the USA as I can because touring combines my two favorite things - playing music and travelling.
