In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember hearing George Harrison's demo of "Something" on the Anthology 3 record in my grandad's car. That was the day I realised that songs are just heartfelt letters with a bit of "showiness" sprinkled in. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Damien Rice, My Favourite Faded Fantasy Leonard Cohen, I'm Your Man Passenger, Whispers (Deluxe Version) Deluxe Honesty is what I strive for in my music and it doesn't get more sincere than these three in my opinion. These examples are quite different in style and approach but what they do share is the strength in their words' intent. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Visiting Leonard Cohen's gravestone in Montréal. To rest with him a while. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Loads. An immediate one would be to play at the Sydney Recital Hall where I first saw my idol, Damien Rice back in 2018.
