Around 12 years of age we were rehearsing a group song and dance number and my teacher at the time pointed me out and said, 'Laura ... I think you can actually sing'. The rest is history. Brandi Carlile, In the Canyon Haze Jason Isbell, Southeastern Lady Gaga, Joanne (Deluxe) These albums are my 'on repeat' albums. All 3 of these artists (and many more ... sad I could only choose 3) are great storytellers! Listen to the albums and the songs and you can see every word they sing. It's like reading a great novel.
