In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember crying to swedish folk music before I knew what it was. I saw E.S.T and had to see the concert twice the same night. I remember listening to Helios way back and being transported through space and time to a whole new dimension. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Esbjörn Svensson Trio, Leucocyte Helios, Eingya Ólafur Arnalds, Island Songs Because these albums made me who I am. Add some Jon Hopkins, some distortion and Scandinavian folk music and that pretty much sums up who I am. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Prinsengracht” This is my most underrated track :) I wish this track got some more attention than it got. Sure Leidseplein is a pretty good track too! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I think one of my most impactful moments of my career was meeting my musical soulmate Sjors on Sound Cloud many years ago. Also meeting so many new friends through the music and the small community of Neo-Classical and experimental electronic music. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? YES! I would love to make an album with a choir. Also play a concert in a ruin of a old stone building in the middle of the night with only the moonlight as stage lights.
