In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember my Mum playing disco records around the house. A song about high lines/ wires or something? Who knows! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bon Iver, i,i Coldplay, Mylo Xyloto Michael Kiwanuka, KIWANUKA Mylo Xyloto was a really formative album for me, it really influenced my love for colourful and adventurous soundscapes. KIWANUKA is a more recent inspiration but has fed deep into my music. I love anything Inflo touches! Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “My Friend, The Water” This song just grew in a way that felt so natural. I think the repetition makes it feel really strong. Very proud of the songwriting on this one too. I also love how live it is, with those layers of bass clarinet slowly seeping in. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing synth bass with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra in front of the Opera House alongside Australian/ PNG artist Ngaiire! Also my debut headline show was lit. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Too many things! I'd love to play the opera house myself one day. Would also love to collaborate with an orchestra, similar to the Jose Gonzales live in Europe album.
