In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I still remember being surprised at Christmas when my parents sacrificed to give me a digital piano while I was in High School. Because of that sacrifice I was able to write hundreds of songs and develop my ability to write and create music. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Kurt Bestor, Kurt Bestor Christmas, Vol. 1 Secret Garden, Songs From a Secret Garden Yanni, Yanni Live At the Acropolis These albums helped shape my development as a musician more than any others. I would listen to the songs from these albums and try to model the way the melody and voices would sing and I can still hear many of their styles in the music I've created. I find that when I focus on bringing out the melody and having my fingers sing the notes, it always connects more on an emotional level with other people.
