About Houndmouth

Americana band Houndmouth signed a record deal with Rough Trade in 2012 after impressing the label’s cofounder with their live SXSW show.

∙ They made late-night TV debuts on Conan and The Late Show With David Letterman within weeks of releasing their first album, 2013’s From the Hills Below the City.
∙ Houndmouth’s Gold-certified 2015 single, “Sedona,” appeared on a pivotal Grey’s Anatomy episode, where it set up Patrick Dempsey’s exit from the series.
∙ A museum in their hometown celebrated Indiana’s 2016 bicentennial with the exhibit Houndmouth: From the Hills to the Limelight, dedicated to the band’s music and career.
∙ In 2018, they released their major-label debut, Golden Age—a sonic departure with synth-pop and dance music influences.
