About Foogiano

Within a short period of time, Georgia rapper Foogiano earned a major label deal and positioned himself as a Gucci Mane–approved future star. • Born into a family with nine other siblings, Foogiano had to find ways to stand out in his hometown of Greensboro, Georgia. He started writing poetry when he was 15 and then switched to rap at the suggestion of his younger brother. • His earliest rap influences were Lil Wayne, Lil Boosie and Gucci Mane. • Foogiano went to prison for three years for burglary and robbery. He says experience made him the person he is today. • After his release, Foogiano focused on music, dropping the mixtapes Gutta Baby (2017), Gutta Baby 2 (2018) and Gutta Baby 3 (2019). He then won the grand prize in the Authentic Empire Music Group Rap Competition, which brought attention from major labels. • In 2020, he signed to Atlantic Records and Gucci Mane’s 1017 label and dropped his debut singles, “MOLLY (BABY MAMA)” and “Trapper”.
