About Evelyn Forever

Jersey Shore power-pop quartet Evelyn Forever was formed on the campus of Rutgers University by singer/bassist Ed Yoo, guitarists Reef Fanous and Mark Sanderlin, and drummer Matt Lewis. Quickly landing a regular showcase at the famed Asbury Park club the Saint, in 1997 the band was the first act signed to the fledgling local indie Airplay, issuing their acclaimed debut LP Nightclub Jitters in 1997. An appearance on the Del-Fi compilation International Pop Overthrow preceded the 1998 release of Evelyn Forever's sophomore record, Lost in the Supermarket. Good to Be Alive was issued three years later. ~ Jason Ankeny
