In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Just being stuck in a hotel in 2020 and thinking "Hey, I'mma download some beats and get to writing some heaters". I finished IDEL in 14 days while stuck in Brisbane before returning to Cairns. Releasing my first EP three months later. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Jack Harlow, Jackman. Joey Bada$$, 1999 Smino, blkswn Where do I start? The best way to put it is like this: 1999 by Joey is a classic and inspired me to get into rap. Jackman is where I try to take inspiration from for the stuff I'm writing right now. blkswn is the music I've had on repeat forever. Tell us why you chose this song. “Diamonds” Diamonds was the first song I wrote while I was stuck in hotel quarantine. I took a lot of inspiration from the late Capital Steez even choosing to use a quirk of his by saying "I could rock with this" in between verses. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing live is easily the most memorable moment for me. Both of the shows that I've done so far have been huge success and I have so much fun on stage being myself in front of strangers. Unreal. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to perform at a festival one day! I think the crowd and energy at an event like that would be an amazing feeling.
