With his fast flow and clever wordplay, Chillinit is one of the most exciting underground rappers in Australia.
• Chillinit started rapping as a teen but soon fell victim to drug abuse. He got kicked out of rehab at 18, then worked as an air-conditioning mechanic for several years. The job gave him the discipline and drive to devote himself to music.
• Inspired by the late LA rap icon Nipsey Hussle, who was a huge proponent of ownership and self-sufficiency, Chillinit launched the independent label 420 Family.
• His 2018 debut album, Women Weed & Worldplay, includes “One Breath One Take”, which interpolates Migos’ “Bad & Boujee” and Dr. Dre's weed anthem “The Next Episode”.
• He dropped two albums in 2020: The Octagon and Full Circle. Both went Top 5 on the Australian charts.
