At that time I was also listening almost exclusively to New Jack Swing on 98.9 Magic FM in Colorado Springs and more oldies on KDZA 107.9 in my hometown of Pueblo, CO. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Pete Yorn, Day I Forgot Phoenix, Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix Rufus Wainwright, Poses Rufus Wainwright and Pete Yorn showed me there weren't rules for singer-songwriters, and that there was room for a voice like mine. Tell us why you chose this song. “Fiesta Day (Live at Analogue)” This song was a turning point in how I wrote about my past for the full-length album, Pueblo. It allowed me to be specific about my imagery and subjects, and I could break from the feel of the songs up to that point without breaking the mold.
