Mexican singer and television presenter Aranza Becerra Meza made her mark appearing and performing on TV Azteca with singer/songwriter Armando Manzanero Canché and recording "Estrella de Ilusion," the theme song for the popular telenovela Alcanzar Una Estrella II, with her musical group Grupo Zarabanda. Aranza released her eponymous, debut solo album in 1994, followed by Mi Isla Desierta a year later. ~ James Christopher Monger
