Apassionata

About Apassionata

A classical crossover duo consisting of Don Lax (violin) and Vance Koenig (guitar), Apassionata came together when Lax and Koenig met while performing at hotels and resorts in Hawaii. While performing at the Four Seasons in Wailea, the duo began to receive numerous requests to play the music of Andrea Bocelli. Lax (who began playing the violin as a small child, and studied at conservatories in Paris and Rome) and Koenig (who studied at the Berklee and Aspen schools of music) put their Bocelli request-inspired work to disc, releasing first the album Kiss of Fire and following that up with Romantic Dreams. ~ Chris True
