Keb' Mo': Deep Cuts

Keb' Mo': Deep Cuts

Aside from his highly regarded original songwriting, Keb' Mo's catalogue contains some tasty covers. The blues guitarist earns his Southern-rock street cred on a hard-grooving version of Gregg Allman's “Just Another Rider” and transforms the honky-tonk gem “I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry” into hushed Americana rippling with pianos and acoustic guitars. He also turns up the funky organs when digging into the '60s anthem “For What It's Worth”.
