Releasing their debut album in 2007, HotCha quickly attracted attention with their infectious, bouncy dance-pop music. Mixing frenetic beats and hip-hop breaks with catchy keyboard hooks and layered vocal harmonies, the trio's slick sound immediately saw them stand out in the Cantopop scene. After the departure of Regen Cheung in 2011, HotCha continued as a duo and kept producing high-octane dance tracks with ecstatic electronic drum beats, layers of bright synth and heavy bass drops alongside soulful ballads.
