Pop/rock group from Cataluña, Spain, Uri Gheller y los Cucharas was formed in 1997 by ex-Máxima Deshonra guitarists Rubén Manzano, David Morella, drummer Miguel Castillo, singer Uri-Albert Sitjes, and ex-Eclipse bassist David Molina. Inspired by the 1960s pop/rock scene, the band recorded a demo in 1998, later signing up to independent Picap Records, making A La Muntanya!!! ~ Drago Bonacich
