In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My mom used to clean the house blasting music—Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, Usher, The Beatles, Lesley Gore, Paula Abdul—while I ran all over the furniture singing, dancing, and listening with her. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Alanis Morissette, Jagged Little Pill (Remastered) Sara Bareilles, The Blessed Unrest Taylor Swift, folklore (deluxe version) These are my favorite albums for long car rides or flights. Each woman tells her story in captivating detail, writes with honest emotion, and sings with such a unique tone. I'm drawn in every time, and years later they've shaped me as a songwriter. Tell us why you chose this song. “Quitter” I love that the central theme of this song is stubborn persistence because that's literally how I overcame the imposter syndrome of making it. Only so many people could give me music advice so making little decisions by and for myself was empowering. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The first time we got every instrumental track down for "Quitter" in the studio, I cried because it was so surreal hearing what was once only in my head happen out in the world in front of me. Surreal and a nice reminder that people WANT to help us. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Oh my god, yes I have a lifetime of bucket list items as an artist. Hearing one of my songs in a movie/TV show, having a holiday hit, getting my song in a viral Tik Tok trend, writing an album, writing a Billboard Top 100 hit for an artist, ...
