About I See Stars
When he was in fifth grade, Devin Oliver started electronic hardcore band I See Stars with his brother and friends, and he left high school at age 15 to tour with the group. ∙ I See Stars made their national TV debut in 2011 on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where they performed the screamo-pop tune “Glow.” ∙ Their second album, 2011’s The End of the World Party, reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart. ∙ The band is known for collaborations: Vocal guests have included Asking Alexandria’s Danny Worsnop and Cassadee Pope, and Razihel and Dotcom have done remixes of their songs. ∙ Released in 2013, New Demons was their first Top 40 Pop album, and it hit No. 2 on the Rock chart. ∙ In 2019, vocalist Devin Oliver began releasing pop-leaning electronic music using the name shYbeast, which led to collaborations with Kayzo and Crankdat.
