In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I will always recall listening to Manu Chau's Clandestino on a holiday while driving through Spain with my parents. I think for many of our generation Manu Chao was a huge inspiration and those album remain total classics. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Burial, Burial Chancha Vía Circuito, Amansara Warsaw Village Band, People's Spring I find Chancha's Amansara as an absolute classic and landmark of the South American folktronic scene, People's Spring is so powerful start to end and Burial is an album that is as relevant today as it was when it first came out. Tell us why you chose this song. “La Cumbia Del Cafe Martinez” This track holds a very special place in my heart as it was inspired by meeting of my wife in a Buenos Aires cafe chan (Café Martinez). Tracks that are born from emotion and powerful memories tend to write themselves. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I think one of the most memorable moments was a show I played in Cholula, Mexico. It was a show for which I had no expectations but was absolutely brilliant. The crowd was amazing, the energy and vibe perfect and it just stuck with me for years. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I have always dreamt of playing Glastonbury and have yet to so I think that is still on my bucket list! I have also always dreamt of producing a folk-dub album using dub production techniques to my style and then playing a set on a dub soundsystem
