About Amelia Lily
Boasting a strong voice reminiscent of Christina Aguilera, Amelia Lily auditioned for The X Factor in 2011 when she was 16. However, she was eliminated in the show's first live episode. She continued to perform at clubs, and when another contestant, Frankie Cocozza, was disqualified from competing, Lily was voted back onto The X Factor. During her stint on the show, she won the public vote twice and appeared in the bottom two twice before competing in the finals against Marcus Collins and the ultimate winners, Little Mix. Lily signed a deal with the Sony Records imprint Xenomania. Her debut single, "You Bring Me Joy," arrived in September 2012 and debuted at number two on the U.K. singles chart. ~ Heather Phares
