About Yves V
A longtime resident DJ at the Belgian EDM festival Tomorrowland, Yves V produces tracks ranging from progressive house to brash, boisterous electro-house. Initially making his mark with underground tracks like 2009's "Insane Pressure," he collaborated with producers like Sander van Doorn and Chuckie over the next decade, and reached the U.K. pop chart in 2019 with "We Got That Cool," featuring Afrojack and Icona Pop.
The Antwerp native began performing at Tomorrowland in 2007 and has been a fixture of the festival ever since. He began releasing tracks in 2008, with "The Skillz" and "Insane Pressure" both appearing on Belgian House Mafia in 2009. In 2011, he released tracks with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike ("Madagascar") and Basto! ("CloudBreaker"), and collaborations with Sander van Doorn, Blasterjaxx, and Bassjackers followed. He released numerous singles on labels like Spinnin' Records, Doorn Records, and Smash the House, and performed at clubs and festivals throughout the world, including Pacha, Amnesia, and Mysteryland. In 2015, Yves V was ranked 34 in the DJ Mag Top 100. After releasing heavily streamed tracks such as 2017's "Blow" (with Marc Benjamin) and 2018's "Innocent" (with Alok featuring Gavin James), Yves V reached the U.K. singles chart for the first time with 2019's "We Got That Cool," featuring Afrojack and Icona Pop. ~ Paul Simpson
