About Nicole Scherzinger

Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, in 1978, Nicole Scherzinger rose to fame on the reality TV show Popstars, earning a spot in the girl group Eden's Crush whose debut single, "Get Over Yourself," cracked the Billboard Top 10. Scherzinger then joined the burlesque group-turned-pop act The Pussycat Dolls as the lead vocalist. Their 2005 album, PCD, propelled by sassy singles “Don’t Cha” and “Stickwitu,” earned Grammy nods and chart success. The band’s rise continued with 2008’s Doll Domination and “Jai Ho! (You Are My Destiny),” a surprise hit from the Slumdog Millionaire soundtrack. When The Pussycat Dolls broke up in 2010, Scherzinger returned to her reality show roots with stints judging The X Factor and The Masked Singer and competing on Dancing with the Stars. She released her solo album, Killer Love, in 2011, starred in the 2014 UK revival of Cats, and continues to dazzle on pop gems, like the 2021 MC Blitzy track, “She’s Bingo,” with Luis Fonsi.
