Airhead

A producer of abstract downtempo electronic music who draws from dubstep, IDM, and post-rock, Rob McAndrews records under the name Airhead. The London native debuted on Brainmath in 2010 with the lean yet intricate and off-center "Pembroke," a collaboration with James Blake, for whom he has played guitar long term. He went on to record for additional labels such as R&S, Hemlock, and latterly Wisdom Teeth, issuing the full-length For Years (2013) and the EP Lightness (2023) in addition to a handful of singles.
