In just the past few years, the Rich Music imprint bears responsibility for breaking some of the biggest and most notable Latin R&B and reggaetón artists, including Dalex and Sech. More recently, they’ve released a handful of singles by PAOPAO, a Puerto Rican singer-songwriter who previously helped write singles for the likes of Dylan Fuentes. Some of her tracks also prominently featured iZaak, formerly of Los Menores, who has fully shed his boy-band beginnings throughout his ongoing solo career. The joint EP relaciones tóxicas pairs up both artists for five compelling reggaetón duets, including “tenemos que hablar” and the contentious yet compulsive “j****a.” As befits the project’s blunt title, we bear witness to a collapsing relationship on “¿qué nos paso?” and navigate two lovers’ estrangement on “ni el sexo ayuda.”
