The year 2020 has turned out to be a period of reflection for many artists, including living country legend Wynonna. While quarantining on her Tennessee farm, Wynonna dug into her musical roots and recorded covers of five of her favorite songs. Songs on the project include Wynonna's singular takes on John Prine's beloved 1971 song "Angel From Montgomery," the Grateful Dead's poetic 1972 track "Ramble on Rose," and Nina Simone's timeless 1965 rendition of the soul standard "Feeling Good." Covers of Fats Domino's "I Hear You Knocking" and Slim Harpo's "King Bee" round out the project, which Wynonna created alongside husband and producer Cactus Moser.
