beautiful sound, deep meaning

this is a great album. Matt's music shows the beauty and depth of Catholic teachings. 'Flesh and Bone' is a reminder of the Incarnation. God showed man what it meant to truly be man by becoming man, and worked with his hands for 30 years, showing us how turn our lives into a labor of love. Remembrance is an awesome song. For centuries, people cried out for the coming of God. He came, and the night before he died, he commanded us to remember him and showed us how. 2000 years, Christians have accepted Jesus' offering of His body and blood, His very life, to us in communion. "I hunger for the bread of God, the flesh of Jesus Christ ...; I long to drink of his blood, the gift of unending love." (St. Ignatius of Antioch). May this be the cry of the Church.

Praise Jesus!

Dostoevsky once said, "Beauty will save the world."
Well, this album is nothing short of beautiful!
It will draw many souls to the Lord.
And that is the highest thing!

Better and better!

In every aspect, Matt's music continues to get better and better with every release. Between his continued musical creativity and ever deepening lyrics and songwritting, Alive Again does not dissapoint. With a great blend of well produced and mixed songs along with a few more raw, bare-bones tracks, this album really creates a venue to deepen your prayer and worship of God. Thanks, Matt for being so docile to the Holy Spirit and where He was leading you with this record. Thank you for being so transparent with all of us. God bless. -matt
