The Christmas Ho (Ho Ho) ,

You can go home again

Who'da thunk after 30 years that the Village People were alive and well... and still making albums! These tracks are lit. Not what you expect from the greatest disco group ever... besides the fact that it's a Christmas collection, the songs span many genres of musical styles yet still maintain the suble humor of the group. It's a trip down memory lane but the road's freshly paved. Hearing Victor Willis give his signature "OOWWWW!" -- in STEREO -- made me smile. Those were and these are the days.

Village People Lost It In 2017

What do you get when you have an old lead singer who can’t sing and five nobodies?

Village People Reboot of 2017. This is just a rehash of a cheaply made in a home studio, auto tuned pro tools album.

Village People fans want archival releases of shows and albums with demos, extended versions, etc. Not some mediocre Christmas album.

This just proves it was Jacques Morali and the arrangements of Horace Ott that made the Village People songs amazing.

I had to give at least one star, and I can say I feel it is justified as it is better than the garbage “Save The World” Victor released before he took over the band name. I think his partner/wife sang on it and trust me, it was not worth the $1.29 I paid.

Victor, seriously release the old live stuff and not this quick cash grab your management team put you up to.

Great Christmas Music

I love Christmas music so I couldn't wait the hear this Village People Christmas album. Eight songs that had me singing within mintues. Victor Willis demonstrates gentleness in his powerful voice as he tackles the ballads "If You Believe," and "Magic Christmas." But the fun and upbeat "Happiest Time of the Year," seems on its way to being a yearly sing along favorite. This is a jewel and must have to round-out your Village People collection.
