Outstanding, now we feel Dierdre

When I first heard the premise of the It Makes a Sound podcast I wondered how it could possibly be interesting over several episodes. Well I feel in love with the story and loved the little snippets of the songs we got. Now I have the whole album, and can listen over and over just like Dierdre did that Summer in high school. Maybe it will never win a Grammy but it’s exactly what I needed and wanted and I love it. Wim Farris Lives!

Not only an incredible companion to a GREAT podcast, but delightful tunes in their own right. Definitely worth a buy for fans of It Makes a Sound, and if you haven’t listened to the podcast yet, why not?!

I’ve only listened to part of the actual podcast so far, but this album is amazing even without some of the context. I’m especially fond of Sad but Not Depressed and Ghost Deer. I very rarely listen to an entire album without skipping some songs, but I’ve listened to this album straight through upwards of 10 times since it was released.
